Meet Dr. Karen Draper

Born and raised in Orlando, Dr. Karen Draper is a native Floridian.  She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in communication sciences and disorders from the University of Florida in 2003 and her Doctor of Audiology degree in 2007 also from the University of Florida.  She is Board Certified in Audiology as well as certified through the American speech, language, and hearing association (ASHA). She is also a member of The American Academy of Audiology.  Dr. Draper has over 13 years of clinical experience, most of it at The Silverstein Institute ,where she specialized in tinnitus management and programming implantable hearing systems such as cochlear implants. In addition to full diagnostic hearing and balance evaluations for children and adults, Dr. Draper is experienced in the testing, selection and fitting of hearing aids. In her free time, Dr. Draper enjoys kayaking, biking and most of all spending time with her family.
